Cover  

The insurance covers any road incident:-

any vehicle, whether you are a driver or a passenger (or even a pedestrian); anywhere in the world (but your normal place of residence must be in UK). As with all insurance, there are limits to the cover, key ones being as follows:

• No cover while vehicle is being used for any work-related purpose (other than commuting to & from usual place of work) - excludes use for hire or reward, motor trade, racing, competitions & the like.
• Excludes pre-existing medical conditions.
• Exclusions/limits for weekly benefit as shown below.

Benefits  

1. Death - £10,000
2. Loss of use of 1 limb or eye - £20,000
3. Loss of use of more that 1 limb/eye - £50,000
4. Permanent Disability from carrying out any occupation - £50,000
5. Temporary Total Disability from carrying out usual occupation - £100 per week **

** Excluding first 4 weeks of each claim. Not payable if not in regular full-time work. Amount payable will not exceed 65% of average pre-accident weekly earnings. Payable for up to 2 years from date of accident.

Cost  

£48 (about 14p per day)
